QA（季胺）是一种强阴离子交换基团，在PH 2~13之间会完全充电。

它会在工作PH范围2~13选择性地与带负电荷的分子键合。

QA是一种多用的化学物质，广泛应用于捕获、调节或下游过程中。

整体柱QA可以实现病毒、类病毒和大蛋白的纯化及其浓度的测定。

对内毒素和DNA的高键合能力使QA成为在润饰步骤中清除这些分子的选择工具。

由于QA（强阴离子交换剂）与DEAE（弱阴离子交换剂）在化学方面的差异性，因此对于某种分子的选择性是不同的。
